The Montclair Public Library's popular series of art and photography exhibits continues with "The History of the Montclair Public Library". This collection of historic photographs, from the Library's collection, tells the story of the growth of the Montclair Public Library. Included are some artifacts such as a radio script from "Montclair Day" in 1947 and memorabilia from the NICHE (Neighborhood Information Can Help Everyone) program from the 1970s. The exhibit will be on view in the Montclair Public Library Gallery and in the glass cases on the first floor of the library, 50 South Fullerton Avenue, during library hours from May 1 through May 30, 2008. |
